Once a week, on Sunday: a reminder to look at your weekly summary, plus a short tip. We store only your email and language; your tracking data stays on your device.
Resting metabolic rate (BMR) uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, or Katch-McArdle when you enter your body-fat percentage.
Daily energy expenditure (TDEE) is your BMR times the activity factor you chose.
One kilogram of body fat is about 7,700 calories. Your daily deficit comes from that and the pace you chose.
Safety limits: up to 1 kg a week, a deficit of up to 1,000 calories a day and up to 30% of your TDEE. A floor of 1,200 calories for women and 1,500 for men.
Protein: 1.8-2.2 g per kg of reference weight, to protect muscle while you lose fat.
The forecast recalculates your TDEE as your weight drops, and assumes a mild metabolic slowdown (up to 5%).
