These molecules reduced epigenetic age by approximately 2.5 years

The cocktail from the TRIIM trial (Fahy 2019) included growth hormone (0.015 mg/kg), DHEA, metformin, vitamin D, and zinc. A reduction of approximately 2.5 years in epigenetic age was measured in 9 men. This is a preliminary finding only, and the drugs are prescription medications.

The rejuvenation cocktail used in the TRIIM trial (appears in the video at 12:38):

  1. 0.015 mg/kg body weight of HGH (growth hormone)
  2. 50 mg of DHEA
  3. 500 mg of Metformin
  4. 3000 IU of vitamin D
  5. 50 mg of Zinc

Important caveat: This cocktail was tested in the TRIIM trial (Fahy et al., Aging Cell 2019), a small, uncontrolled pilot study in only 9 men, in which a reduction of approximately 2.5 years in epigenetic age (a biomarker estimated from DNA methylation clock) was measured, and reversal of the body's own aging was not proven. These molecules, including HGH, metformin, and DHEA, are prescription medications with side effects and risks, and should not be taken without medical supervision.
